Object

Two operating server rooms of KarTel LLP (Beeline) in Astana — 43.2 and 38.9 m². The raised floor panels were replaced in October 2025 without stopping the server rooms.

Scope

82 m² across two rooms. The equipment kept running throughout: server racks were neither lifted nor powered down.

The substructure was repaired together with the panels.

Structure

The new panel is 600 × 600 × 38 mm: high-density chipboard with an antistatic covering on top and a steel sheet underneath. The substructure was put in order: pedestals and stringers replaced or straightened, the base adjusted and levelled, gaskets laid on the stringers.

The schematic below shows the panel build-up and the two server rooms in 600 × 600 mm modules.

Raised access floor engineering

Load calculations, structure and core selection, the layout grid, specifications and drawings. Available without installation.

Order engineering

Works

Removal and disposal of the old panels, supply and installation of the new ones, supply and installation of metal ventilation panels. Floor joints were sealed with a gasket, cut panel edges treated with a dust-binding compound. Pneumatic panel lifters were supplied to the client for floor maintenance.
